Our desire is to help you as parents to "Train up a child in the way he should go".  We believe that a child can be taught God's principles at any age and that's why our ministries start right in the nursery.  Children are not only the church of the future, they are the church of today, deserving of quality children's ministries to meet their needs.  Explore the following children's ministries at Charlotte Assembly of God.

BigStuf is A 45-minute weekly program that uses music, drama, and storytelling to entertain and inspire. It is:

  • Virtue Driven - where character and faith are taught by emphasizing a monthly virtue

  • User Friendly - where your friends will thank you for bringing them

  • Creatively Wired- where video, lights, sound, and drama are used to make a lasting impression

  • Family Centered - where parents and kids spend quality time together

  • Kid Focused - where learning is fun and relevant for elementary age kids

  • Volunteer Fueled - where everyone can participate and get connected

BigStreet  is a small group environment for kids K thru 5th grade where  children learn how to study the Bible, worship through singing, and build quality friendships with other kids and adult leaders.

BigStreet Station is ministry super-charged large group environment with heart-changing small group relationships that help elementary kids become who God created THEM to be! How? Students will be challenged to apply the 3 BASIC TRUTHS to equip them to live the life God has planned for them.

 
Royal Rangers is one of America's largest and foremost adventure programs for boys and young men 6-17 years old.  Five categories make this a successful Bible based ministry for boys of all ages and interests.  Rangers is also a great place for dads to get involved with their sons and for boys who may not have a positive male role model in the home to establish a positive relationship of this type.

DivorceCare for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At their weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.

Early Childhood Classes are provided for ages infant through Pre-K where these little ones are actually taught Bible stories and principles.  Skilled care givers with loving concern for your children staff each class.  Your child will learn about the Bible in a variety of creative ways including puppets, films, drama, games, crafts, stories and many more exciting methods.

Mission In Motion Bus Ministry provides kids with transportation to and from Royal Rangers, HighPoint and Sunday morning services.  Our busses run in the city limits and the outskirts of the Charlotte area.  Weekly promotions and prizes encourage kids to bring their Bibles to church with them.  Riding a bus can be FUN!
